Hi, my name is Eddie. I am currently residing in Sabah, Malaysia where I work as a guitar teacher at a local music school. I have been playing the guitar for quite a long time, 18 years to be exact, but I only started taking guitar lessons eight years after I got my first guitar.
I am mainly self-thought at the early stages of my playing, with the help of chord books I began copying my favorite songs from recordings. There were a lot of trial and errors but sure enough, it was the most rewarding experience I could ever had. Learning to transcribes songs by ears has developed my creativity to the point where I can figure out Slash's intro to Sweet Child Of Mine.:). I began to understand more about how music works when I started taking guitar lesson from a local guitar teacher and acquire more when I enrolled into a local college of music.
It feel's good to be making a living doing the things that I enjoy most, guitar, music and sharing my knowledge to others..:)
