Accent
- Can be identify by the sign(>), which means to play with more force where indicated.

Arpeggio
- A chord that are played separately note per note.

Bar
- A section of music in between two bar lines(also called a 'Measure')

Bar Chord
- A chord played with one finger laying across the strings.

Bar Lines
-A vertical line drawn across the staff which devides it into equal section called bars.

Bass Strings - The three thicker strings on the guitar(namely string 6,5 and 4)

Bend
- A technique of pushing the string upwards or downwards to raise the pitch.

Capo
- A device placed across the neck of the guitar to change a key without changing the chord shape.

Chord
- A combination of three or more notes played togather.

Chord Progression
- A series of chord changes(e.g. as in a song)

Dynamic
- The varying degrees of softness and loudness in music.

Form
- The plan or layout of a song.

Harmonics
- A bell like sound.

Harmony
- The simultaneous sounding of two or more notes.

Improvise
- To perform spontaneously.

Key - Describes what scale(major or minor) a song is using.

Note
- A single sound.

Open Chord
- A chord that contains at least one open string.

Open String - String played without pressing it down on the fret.

Pitch
- The sound produce by a note, high or low.

Rhythm
-The aspect of music determined by Tempo, Duration and Accents.

Staff
- Five parallel lines in which a music is written.

Tempo
- The speed of a music.

Treble Strings - The three thiner strings on the guitar(namely string 1,2 and 3)
