The guitar fretboard diagram below only shows the location of the notes up to the 12th fret, beyond the 12th fret, will just be a repetition of the whole thing.
This first diagram shows the locations of the seven basic notes in music. These notes are also known as 'Natural Notes' that belong to the 'C Major' scale. Starting from the note 'C', you can see how the major scale pattern of; W-W-H-W-W-W-H affected the placement of these notes on the guitar fretboard. If you're wondering what notes goes with the empty spaces in between some of these natural notes, take a look at the second diagram below:
